  The staff here is awful...My fiancee brought our kitten in because he had an upper respiratory infection. The first words out of the vets mouth were, "Oh, he has calicivirus, were gonna have to hazmat this entire room." Then when he got the FIV/Felv test done, the nurse had to do it twice because she pulled it out too soon, and brought our kitten back with blood dripping down his leg. My fiancee was then told that our kitten tested positive for both FIV/Felv, and the vet said that in all the years of his career, never has a kitten lived passed birth when having both. The vet then stated that he was gonna be a great cat. Horrible bedside manner...the statement about Hazmat should have waited until the end of the visit; a polite "In light of the possibility of your kitten having calicivirus, there is a state mandatory hazmat fee that I will have to charge." Then we received a call because the vet had sent his blood off to get checked, my kitten was in fact negative for both FIV and Felv, and even Calicivirus. Now I'm sitting here with a ridiculous, almost $200 vet bill, for incompetence and lack of respect for us as owners. Went to the humane society yesterday, the humane officer said that when she tests for FIV/Felv and it comes back positive for both, she does the test again and most the time the results are negative...absolutely disgusted and will not return to this veterinary hospital ever again.
